Dear Friends,
The past year and a half has taught me many things on how fragile life can be, and how strongly communities can come together with love. I’m forever grateful for everything and everyone’s support.
I have a very exciting new window installation I’m working on right now. It used to be the J.Foss shop in Palo Alto. I’m hoping you might be interested in folding some origami fish with me. It’s a healing process for all of us. If you want to put names of loved ones in or on the fish, it would be really lovely way to remember someone.
My nephew, Brendon, created a website linked to various fish folding videos. Most are quite easy so even kids can participate. There is one that stumps me a bit. I’ll leave it to you to choose the fish, and however many you wish to fold. I appreciate any effort.
For now, I’m having the fish sent to my studio: 2476 Harrison St, Electric Snail studio, San Francisco CA 94110. I’m working on physical drop locations for people living in Palo Alto, TBA.
Hope to see some of you fish!
Sincerely,
Sophia
